Five members of Ocean Certain consortium participated in the Gordon Research Conference on Ocean Biogeochemistry in Hong Kong last week, June 12-18th.
It was a conference with all experts in the field, and the themes ranged from iron, coccolithophores, diatoms, dinoflagellates, silica flagellates, the biological pump, the solubility pump, the carbonate pump (who knew there were more than one pump???) – and then on the last day, the Carbon Pumps and Society.
There were 180 attendees there from all over the world, and we highly recommend this conference if you wish to learn more about the ocean and climate change and meet with experts in the field.
